• What is the process for beginning services?

All new clients will be directed to complete the Free 15-minute Discovery Call. This is done to determine if my services are a “good fit” for your needs, discuss the process for all clients, and establish a commitment, if applicable. After scheduling your first appointment, you will receive an email with detailed steps to prepare for your consultation, which includes an invitation to my Practice Better Portal and instructions for ordering a Bioenergetic Scan. Within Practice Better, you will be instructed to complete basic service forms, including an intake and health history assessment (to be completed prior to your initial appointment) to give me time for review and know your health history and concerns.

Please note, prior to your Initial Health & Wellness Consultation, it is essential to complete the Bioenergetic Scan so the results are provided to me for review during the initial consultation.

  • What is natural health?

Natural health, also known as naturopathy, is a natural health care profession which focuses on prevention, support, and optimal health through use of all natural, non-invasive therapies and natural substances that encourage the body’s innate ability to self-heal. Natural health considers an individual’s physical, mental, emotional, genetic, environmental, social, spiritual, and other factors and encourages healthy choices and the elimination of underlying causes of illness. Naturopathy does not cure disease but supports the body through natural means and encourages clients to take charge of their own wellbeing. Focus is placed on the interconnectedness between the mind, body, soul, and emotion and what is needed to maintain balance within each area.

  • What should I expect working with a Natural Health Professional?

The role of a natural health professional is to teach the essential needs for living “naturally”, provide support when making changes, and empower clients to manage their health (and the health of their families). By taking preventative steps and learning how to support the body’s self-healing ability, it is possible to avoid illnesses and diseases.

  • What do I need to prepare for my Initial Health and Wellness Consultation?

At the time of scheduling, a Client Information Form will be sent via email for you to complete and return before your appointment. This form will include extensive information necessary to best understand your concerns, goals, and current lifestyle habits. You will also need to provide your health history, medications, and previous actions tried (and outcomes). The information on this form is essential for the practitioner to begin planning before meeting.

  • What payment options are available?

Payment for services is required at the time of appointment and can be made via cash, check, credit, or debit. Please note, for payments made by check, the client will be responsible for any additional fees applied for a bounced check for non-sufficient funds. Contact will be made with the bank for a second attempt at depositing the check. Enforced collection option will be discussed with the bank, meaning the next money deposited and available in the customer’s account will be made to you (the service provider).

  • Do you accept insurance?

Medical insurance is not available for natural health services. This allows Changing Horizons Holistic Health, LLC to provide the best comprehensive care necessary to identify the root cause of dis-ease rather than face limitations set by insurance companies.

A summary of services will be provided for your use when submitting a claim for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HAS) or insurance reimbursement. Contact your insurance company to inquire about reimbursement options that may be available.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

Your time is valuable to us, and your appointment time is set aside specifically for you. If you cannot make it to your appointment, the appointment slot is not used. Therefore, we ask for 48-hours’ notice for cancelled or rescheduled appointments, for possible fulfillment of the time slot. Please note you may be subject to a $50 fee for late cancellations and no-show for an appointment.

  • Who can benefit from your services?

Everybody! Natural health is for anyone wanting a natural approach option to their health and wellness and interested in learning preventative health steps to avoid illnesses and disease.
